BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES MediaLink Communications is a startup company based in British Columbia, Canada. MediaLink Communications intends to be the largest outlets for the different communities it serves. We believe that being second is not good enough. We will be the no.1 shopping outlet over the internet. This is not a gimmick. This is the way we think. We are seeking suppliers who carry the products we can sell. We are looking for strategic partners such as non-profit organizations and web site owners who want to increase their cash-flow. MediaLink Communications is interested in signing up large suppliers of ethnic and special interest merchandise (no sexually-explicit merchandise will be accepted). Merchandise can be anything of interest to the target groups such as music, software, books, videos, art, gifts, etc. There are immediate needs for suppliers for the following stores & Malls: In 1999, we will be seeking suppliers for the following stores:
You can either have your own store in our Mall or listed in our MegaStore or both. If you choose to have your own store, we have several programs: Activist: You want to maintain your own catalogue to fast reflect the changes in your stock as well as specials. No fees - we will collect an agreed-upon percentage of the sale (A lower percentage than the By-stander). Independent: You want to be totally independent. We can work this out as well. We will supply you with the database software and set-up your skeleton storefront site and you could update it at will. - Setup Fees: US $1500 - Web-Space rental: US $75/month (up to 10 Megs. Add US$2.5 for each additional Meg.) and 5% of all sales. - Listing on a Mall: (optional) Prime real-estate: 15% of sales originating from entering your site via the Mall. - Technical Support: US$75/hr. or a $200/month for up to 10 hours/month. MediaLink Communications is interested in establishing alliances with non-profit organizations who are interested in increasing their cash flow. Non-profit organizations, despite the excellent work they do, are cash-starved. We can help. We will give our customers the option to donate some its sale to a specific organization. While the non-profit organization is encouraged to promote the site to increase the number of donors, it does not have any responsibility to do so. This is part of MediaLink Communications commitments to be a good corporate citizen and give back to the communities it serve. Of course the organization should have connections, common interest with or serves the target community for the store. MediaLink Communications is interested in establishing alliances with web site owners, be they big or small. In lieu of advertising, the web site owner is guaranteed a percentage of sale from a customer coming from their web site. MediaLink Communications have developed the tools necessary to do so. MediaLink communications will supply the web site with choice of several banners. We can also consider on a case by case the hosting of a free web page.
